Download and installation

Error Recovery Guide for fi-6400/fi-6800 V4.6.0.1

[Download] icon-download FER4601C2.exe (181MB)

Be sure you log into Windows® as a user with administrator privileges.

  1. Download the FER4601C2.exe file onto your hard drive.
  2. After downloading, make sure you have enough free disk space (at least more than twice the download file size) for installing the programs.
  3. Quit any other applications that are running on your computer.
  4. Execute "FER4601C2.exe" that you downloaded in step 1. This creates a folder called "Disk1" in the same folder where the program is stored.
  5. Double-click the Setup.exe file in the Disk1 folder to start the software installation.
  6. When the installation has completed, confirm if [Error Recovery Guide] icon is on the task tray. If [Error Recovery Guide] is not running, you can launch it from Start Menu > [fi Series] > [Error Recovery Guide].
