Some parts used in the HDD, such as the grease used on the spindle rotor, start to deteriorate after a given time.
Grease deterioration is accelerated as the DE temperature increases. Temporary exposure to high temperatures may not affect
the device life, but continuous exposure to high temperatures does affect it adversely.
