ScanSnap Organizer -QA2-

Q2. Where does ScanSnap save created images? Can "ScanSnap Organizer" save image files onto a network folder?

A2. Although ScanSnap Organizer usually saves image files in the "…\My Documents\My ScanSnap" folder ("C:\<user name>\Documents\ScanSnap" for Windows Vista®), you can change settings to save these files in a different destination.

Go to the [Tools] menu ' [Options] ' [General Settings] to change the file saving destination.

ScanSnap users can only assign local folders to "My ScanSnap" ("ScanSnap" for Windows Vista®) folder settings.
Browse folders by clicking "Shortcut to folder" to save images into a network folder.

[How to assign a folder (how to create shortcut to folder)]

  2. Select the folder (network folder) that you wish to assign, and click on [OK].

→The folder that you selected will be displayed under [My ScanSnap] ([ScanSnap] for Windows Vista®) folder, and you can now view the contents of the folder in ScanSnap Organizer.
