Scan to Office applications (For Windows®)

1. Why does it fail to OCR some of the documents when I use "Scan to Word", "Scan to Excel" or "Scan to PowerPoint"? Also, the layouts and texts are sometimes displayed incorrectly.
   What type of documents can it convert without any problems?
2. I am not getting better results in "Scan to Word", "Scan to Excel" or "Scan to PowerPoint" even though I changed the [Image quality] to "Excellent".
3. The quality of the conversion (text recognition) changes depending on the settings in color mode (B&W/Color/Gray) and image quality. What is the best setting?
4. Why do I get an error message saying "Not enough memory!" while performing "Scan to Word", "Scan to Excel" or "Scan to PowerPoint"?
5. Why wasn't my work file deleted when "Scan to Word", "Scan to Excel" or "Scan to PowerPoint" was executed?
6. I accidentally closed "Scan to Word" / "Scan to Excel" / "Scan to PowerPoint" without saving the file. Isn't it saved anywhere? Is it possible to display the file again?

Cloud linkage function

1. Can ScanSnap S1500 link to Cloud services?
2. After updating Evernote, ScanSnap cannot link with Evernote.

1. How could I learn more about “Carrier Sheets”?
2. The size of the image created by my ScanSnap differs from that of the actual document. How can I correct this?
3. When I scan my document with "Create front and back images separately" specified, sometimes the generated image data does not contain all of the details included in the original document. Why does this happen?
4. How can I remove shadows appearing along the edges of scanned images?
5. How can I remove black lines that appear along image edges when scanning in black and white?

Linking to mobile devices (the iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and Android™ devices)

1. Can I link the S1100 / S1300i / S1300 / S1500 / S1500M to iPad, iPhone and iPod touch devices?

3. The Windows Security Alert dialog box appears when I launch the Scan to Mobile function.
