Prior to connecting the scanner to the USB, carefully review the following information.
- Only use the USB cable that came with the scanner.
- Wait 5 seconds after disconnecting the USB before connecting it again. Your scanner may not work properly if you do not wait
this long before reconnecting it.
- Do not unplug the power cable while the USB cable is connected. This may cause errors that will prevent the scanner from operating
properly.
- ScanSnap is supported via the following USB host controllers:
- Intel 82371 AB/EB PCI to USB Universal Host Controller
- Intel 82371 SB PCI to USB Universal Host Controller
- Intel 82801AA USB Universal Host Controller
- Intel 82440MX PCI to USB Universal Host Controller
