Trouble shooting -Scanning QA7-

Q7. "Device Error" appears and I cannot scan documents.

A7. The probable causes are as follows:
  • The optical unit (lamp, lens, glass, CCD etc.) may not be clean and shut the light.
    Please clean the scanner by referring Operator’s Guide.
  • The light volume of the lamp is not enough.
    The lamp may be getting old. Please replace the lamp.
  • The documents may be stuck in the scanner.
    Please remove the documents.

If the error message still appears, please contact the Fujitsu subsidiary which you purchased your scanner from.
