| Q10. | When scanning document by using Acrobat and save the scanned image as a PDF file, the file size becomes large. |

| A10. | When you select "Save as" in the "File" menu, the image data is not compressed and the file size becomes large.
To compress the image data, please specify "Acrobat Distiller" in "Print" in the "File" menu to make a PDF file. You can also use the bundled software "ScandAll21" to save the data from "To Adobe PDF" in the "Scan" menu. Acrobat Distiller starts up when you save the data. The setting of Acrobat Distiller (such as compression setting) can be set up after starting up "Acrobat Distiller" in "Program" in the Windows start menu. |
