Trouble shooting -Scanning QA1-

Q1. The scanned image is skewed.

A1. To prevent the image skew problem, adjust the paper guides of the paper tray to fit the document width before the scanning operation.

However, please note that when you use the copied documents, they might be skewed already.

When you use M4099D, fi-4990C or fi-4860C, fi-4530C the skewed scanned image can be automatically corrected by a TWAIN driver, V5.6 / 6.6 or above version.
fi-4530C works under TWAIN driver V8.11 / 9.11 or above.

For your information
The following scanners, which support "Double Feed Detection", can scan a batch of documents, which contains different paper sizes.
These scanners output the scanned images in each document size. Also, when the documents are skewed and fed through the ADF, the scanned images are corrected to be straight automatically.

fi-5900C, fi-4860C2, fi-5750C, fi-5650C, fi-5530C, fi-4340C, fi-5220C, fi-5120C, fi-60F

Notes
