Q7. The scanner cannot be recognized when turning the power on with Windows2000.

A7. When you use Adaptec SCSI board ASC-29160N(A), and when the SCSI-ID of the scanner is set to "0", the scanner may not work properly.

Note
This problem does not occur with ASC-29160N(E).

How to recover this problem
Please change the SCSI ID to a value other than 0 (the initial setting is 5).
