Trouble shooting -Installation & Connection QA3-

Q3. The "Check" lamp lights when powering up the scanner.

A3. When your scanner has the Flatbed, please make sure that the Shipping lock is in the unlock position.
Refer to the Operator's guide to see how to remove the shipping lock.
If the Check lamp still lights after removing the shipping lock, please contact the Fujitsu subsidiary which you purchased the scanner from.

Note
When using fi-4340C, fi-4220C or fi-4010CU, please turn the lock dial to the unlock position.
Please refer to the figures below.

  • fi-4340C
    Shipping look is located under the stacker beside the scanner body.
    Turn the Shipping lock 90 degrees in anticlockwise direction.


  • fi-4220C
    Shipping lock is located in the undersurface of the scanner body.
    Tilt the scanner body approx. 30 degrees and slide the Shipping lock to the unlock position.


  • fi-4010CU
    Shipping lock is located in the undersurface of the scanner body.
    Slide the Shipping lock to the unlock position.
