Trouble shooting -Driver QA6-

Q6. I cannot install TWAIN driver and "SCSIMAP.SYS not found" appears.

A6. This problem occurs on Fujitsu TWAIN driver Version 5.x/6.x ("x" varies depending on the version).
The TWAIN driver for Windows98 may be installed to Windows2000 and the "Inf" file for Windows98/Me may be called.

Please follow the procedures below.
  1. Uninstall the driver
    1. Delete the "Scanner Utility for Microsoft Windows" in "Add/remove programs".
    2. If the scanner appears as "Unknown device" in the Device manager, delete it.
  2. Open all "oem.inf" and "oem.PNF" files with text format such as Note pad. If you find either "Fmasusd.inf" or "Fjtwain.inf", then please delete these oem files.
  3. Install the driver for Windows2000.
