Trouble shooting -Driver QA2-

Q2. The error message "ASPI manager not found" still appears even after installing the correct ASPI manager.

A2. The ASPI manager may not work properly by one of the following reasons.
  • The SCSI board is not installed correctly.
  • The IRQ or the port address of the SCSI board is already used by another board.
  • The driver for the SCSI board is not installed correctly, or the wrong driver is installed.
  • The driver for the SCSI board is not activated under WindowsNT. (You can check if the driver is activated or not in "Device" in the Control Panel.)
For details, contact the vendor of your SCSI board.
