Q28. What kinds of file formats does the scanner make?

A28. It depends on the application software you use.

The scanner data is transferred to the host PC by the TWAIN/ISIS interface.
The scanner data is transferred to the application software via the driver and after that, the data is processed.
Therefore, the data file is not created by the scanner but by the application software.

The bundled application software "ScandAll" (TWAIN compatible) can create the following file formats.

TIFF, Multipage TIFF, JPEG, BMP, PDF

Note
  • TIFF file LZW compression is not supported.
  • Adobe Acrobat is also required to create PDF files.
