Added Functions:

1. The Carrier Sheet Option (for scanning documents larger than A4) is now supported.

   - Carrier Sheet Option with multifeed detection is supported by the following firmware.
      fi-6130 / fi-6230: version 0C00 or later
      fi-6140 / fi-6240: version 0E00 or later
2. Synchronizing the alphanumeric strings of the digital endorser with the imprinter (only if the imprinter has been installed on scanner).
3. After TWAIN data source is disabled, applications can enable TWAIN data source after the scanner is turned off and powered on again.
4. TWAIN triplet, DG_IMAGE/DAT_EXTIMAGEINFO/MSG_ GET, is supported.
5. The detailed driver version is stored in the member "Info" of the member "version" of TW_IDENTITY structure on TWAIN call.
   Example: "V9.21.601.0 May 25 2009"
6. Automatic page size detection performance (scanning speed) is improved.

Corrected Malfunctions:

1. The Setting Files selection unexpectedly changes to "00:Current Setting" when the [Scan] button is pressed.
2. Image mode settings do not change even if the Setting Files is changed.
3. A generated TIFF file may contain incorrect information if the value of the Setting Files is changed to another value that specifies a different image type before a document is scanned in file transfer mode with TIFF file format.
4. While "Multi Image Output" or "Color / Monochrome Auto Detection" is set to "None" instead. is being enabled, the TWAIN driver ignores Capability calls from applications such as CAP_ FEEDERENABLE.
5. Depending on the application, the scanner driver settings return to the default instead of remaining in their current configuration when overwrite install is performed.
6. An application error occurs and scanning operation terminates unexpectedly because of improper memory access. This occurs when the document is scanned from an application in memory transfer mode with Automatic Page Size Detection.
7. The backside of the scanned image may have some problems if Auto Page Size detection and ADF(Duplex) are selected on scanner model fi-5530C2.
8. Each item in the SOP scanner setting menu may display incorrectly and fail to change the driver settings in some cases.
9. When the installation path of the Error Recovery Guide is changed, the Help menu is not viewable by users with a restricted Windows User Account type.
10. In the SOP window, the default setting of dropout color, which is supposed to be set to "Green", is set to "None" instead.
11. The SOP window does not display when the USB connection is switched from the CGA board to the regular USB connector.
12. The cell color remains yellow even if the [Clear] button is clicked for consumables in the SOP window.

Driver download and installation

• Ensure there is adequate hard-disk space.
• Download the driver to your hard disk by clicking the "Download" link below.

• Extract the downloaded archive file.
• For example, execute the following command, and extract the file to your Hard Disk.

• [drive:] is the drive name where the downloaded file is stored
• [¥path] is the pass name where the downloaded file is stored.
• [¥filename] is the file name to be downloaded.

In case the existing driver still remains, after you uninstall it and execute the following command, please install the downloaded driver.

For driver installation, please follow the Installation Guide. The functions and operation of the driver are in the"User's Guide" (size: 2.16MB) or "TWAIN driver help". (The "User's Guide", requires Adobe® Reader® 5.0 or later. If necessary, you can download it from: http://www.adobe.com.
