1. Revised contents are shown below:
   
   • The problem, where punch hole images on the color or gray scale images could not be removed under the following conditions, has been corrected:
     
     • When saving files in JPEG file format
     • When "Auto color detection" has been enabled
     • When "Automatic page size" has been enabled
       (priority=from 0 to 2)
   • Blank black and white image pages are now deleted, when "Auto Rotation" has been enabled
   • An error message is now displayed, when scanning documents with fi-6140 or fi-6240 scanners, when "Auto Color Detection" has been enabled.
   • The problem, where the designated file was accidentally changed during scanning, has been corrected.
   • There used to be a problem where TWPA-GRAY, rather than TWPT-BW, used to be activated when calling MSG-GET with ICAP-PIXELTYPE, when the following functions had been enabled:
     
     • Advanced DTC
     • Image processing software option
     This problem has been corrected.

Caution

The darker image is output with TWAIN driver (V9.21.215 to 9.21.227) when the scanning is executed with Grayscale or 4bit Grayscale while [Preset Gamma] is set to "Normal".

• If this driver is applied to the same system in which Version 9.21.215～9.21.227 had been operated, the output image scanned with grayscale may be slightly brighter than before.
• In such cases, in order to maintain the same brightness with previous image, please change [Preset Gamma] to "Custom" and also make sure to set Shadow : 0, Highlight: 255, Gamma 1.0 in TWAIN driver dialog before scanning.

Before downloading this software, it is required that you accept the terms of the Software license agreement. Read the " terms of the Software license agreement" carefully, before you download the software. By downloading this driver software, you are deemed to have accepted this agreement.

Driver download and installation

• Ensure there is adequate hard-disk space.
• Download the driver to your hard disk by clicking the "Download" link below.

• Extract the downloaded archive file.
• For example, execute the following command, and extract the file to your Hard Disk.

• [drive:] is the drive name where the downloaded file is stored
• [¥path] is the pass name where the downloaded file is stored.
• [¥filename] is the file name to be downloaded.

In case the existing driver still remains, after you uninstall it and execute the following command, please install the downloaded driver.

For driver installation, please follow the Installation Guide. The functions and operation of the driver are in the"User's Guide" (size: 1.71MB) or "TWAIN driver help". (The "User's Guide", requires Adobe® Reader® 5.0 or later. If necessary, you can download it from: http://www.adobe.com.

Install the driver software in accordance with the following notes and methods.

Log in as administrator, and then start the installation.
