Added Functions:

1. The TWAIN certification is obtained.

Corrected Malfunctions:

1. An image was not delivered properly at 256 colors during memory exporting.
2. TWAIN driver took time to reopen in some cases after the TWAIN driver unexpectedly quit.
3. An error message appeared and scanning failed when a restricted user scanned using a FTS file with [Custom] selected in the dropout color setting.
4. Though G3/G4 compression was specified during multi-TIFF file output, there were some cases where the generated file was uncompressed.
5. The blank page skip setting became invalid in some cases after the user changed the blank page setting in TWAIN UI option window, and then changed either the rotation angle or auto deskew/size detection setting. Several linked events were started up when the user held down the “Send to” button or the “Scan” button on the scanner.

Driver download and installation

Download the driver to your hard disk by clicking the "Download" link below.

Download file has been a self-extracting format.

By executing the downloaded "Ft9ls5Xd.exe" file, program will be extracted in the same directory where the file exists. Refer to the above Disk space size as a measure of required Disk space.
In case there is an existing driver, uninstall it before executing the file.
Execute the "Setup.exe" in the created "¥Disk1" directory to start the driver installation.

For driver installation, please follow the Installation Guide. The functions and operation of the driver are in the "User's Guide" (size: 2.16MB) or "TWAIN driver help". (The "User's Guide", requires Adobe® Reader® 5.0 or later. If necessary, you can download it from: http://www.adobe.com.

Install the driver software in accordance with the following notes and methods.

Log in as administrator, and then start the installation.
