Added Functions:

1. The following functions for scanning with the carrier sheet are added:
   
   • [Automatic Detection] is added to the document size of the double-page spread scanning.
   • Clipping (Front)/Clipping (Duplex) is added.
   • TWAIN parameter (function) is now available to set during double-page spread scanning.

Corrected Malfunctions:

1. TWAIN driver took time to reopen in some cases after the TWAIN driver unexpectedly quit.
2. An error message appeared and scanning failed when a restricted user scanned using a FTS file with [Custom] selected in the dropout color setting.
3. Though G3/G4 compression was specified during multi-TIFF file output, there were cases where the generated file was uncompressed.

Driver download and installation

Download the driver to your hard disk by clicking the "Download" link below.

Download file has been a self-extracting format.

For Windows® 2000, Windows® XP, Windows Server™ 2003 / 2003 R2, Windows Vista™, Windows Server™ 2008 / 2008 R2, Windows® 7 users, log in as administrator first.

By executing the downloaded "Ftak5pXb.exe" file, program will be extracted in the same directory where the file exists. Refer to the above Disk space size as a measure of required Disk space.
In case there is an existing driver, uninstall it before executing the file.
Execute the "Setup.exe" in the created "¥Disk1" directory to start the driver installation.

For driver installation, please follow the Installation Guide. The functions and operation of the driver are in the "User's Guide" (size: 1.89MB) or "TWAIN driver help". (The "User's Guide", requires Adobe® Reader® 5.0 or later.) If necessary, you can download it from: http://www.adobe.com.
