ScandAll PRO V2.0.12 Update Pack

Applicability

This update applies to

  • ScandAll PRO V2.0.1 or later

Please begin by verifying which version of ScandAll PRO is installed by selecting "About ScandAll PRO" from the ScandAll PRO "Help" menu. This update will install "Version 2.0.12 Update Pack". To download the ScandAll PRO ScanSnap mode Add-in, refer to ScandAll PRO ScanSnap mode Add-in.

Added Functions/improvements:

  1. The following OS are supported.
    ScsandAll PRO works as a desktop application with the following OS.
    • Windows® 8.1
    • Windows® 8.1 Pro
    • Windows® 8.1 Enterprises
    • Windows Server® 2012 R2 Standard

      Note for Windows® 8.1 / Windows Server® 2012 R2:
      • The TWAIN or ISIS driver needs to be updated. Download and install the driver that applies to the OS you are using.
      • Use Internet Explorer for desktop application if the Web parts are performed.
      • The installation of the Scan to Microsoft SharePoint may fail when .Net Framework 3.5 is not installed. Install .NET Framework 3.5 prior to the Scan to Microsoft SharePoint installation.
  2. Added Greek, Turkish, and Arabic to the supported language in OCR.
  3. Able to select the image type in TWAIN’s setup dialog when specifying PDF in the File Format in the [Scan Setting] dialog box.

Corrected issues:

  1. Fixed the defect that SOP fails to obtain the scanner information right after launching ScandAll PRO.
  2. Fixed the defect that a crash may occur when the range of barcode recognition is set to the corner of the document.
  3. Fixed the defect that the scanner does not appear in the scanner selection screen when “Remote Desktop Services” is installed in Windows Server 2008/2012.
  4. Fixed the defect that Blank Page Removal function does not operate when White Pixel Rate is specified.
  5. Fixed the defect that ScandAll PRO may not start on the second time because the process is not ended when the program is terminated.
  6. Fixed the defect that in rare cases ScandAll PRO may hang-up when outputting PDF or PFD/A file containing 600 or more pages.

[Download] Download Data SAPV2012VUP.exe (201MB)

Be sure you log into Windows® as a user with administrator privileges

  1. Download ScandAll PRO V2.0.12 Update Pack (SAPV2012VUP.exe) onto your hard drive.
  2. Quit any other applications that are running on your computer. Stop any scanning operations if you are using the scanner.
  3. Execute "SAPV2012VUP.exe" that you downloaded in step 1. This creates a folder called "SAPV2012VUP" in the same folder where the program is stored.
  4. Double-click the ScandAllPRO.exe file which is located in the SAPV2012VUP folder.
  5. How to check the ScandAll PRO version after the update (Perform in sequence):
    Please refer to Download Data How to confirm the ScandAll PRO update.
  • Now that you have completed the update, please refer to the Download Data README prior to activating it.
