This update pack includes the modifications made by the following updates:


The following new functions added when the update pack for Mac OS (V3.1L14) is applied.

  • Scanned images can be saved to Evernote and Google Docs™.
  • Applications to display in the Quick Menu can be specified.
  • A preview of the scanned image is displayed during scanning.

The following malfunctions happen when the update pack for Mac OS (V3.1L14) is not applied.

  • The malfunction where a custom paper size cannot be specified in [Paper size] of the [Paper] tab (ScanSnap setup window) has been modified.

Operating Procedures

Note: If you perform the update online, the following procedure will not be necessary. Follow the instructions on the online update screen.

  1. Download ScanSnap Manager (S1300) Update Pack for Mac OS. (ScanSnap_V31L14.dmg) onto your hard drive.
  2. Quit any other applications that are running on your computer.
  3. Execute "ScanSnap_V31L14.dmg" that you downloaded in step 1.
  4. Execute "ScanSnap_V31L14.pkg" that is deployed from the .dmg file in step 3.
    When the message "xxxxx is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?" appears during installation, click [Open] to proceed.

Now that you have completed the update, please refer to the README file prior to use.
