ScanSnap Manager
- Use ScanSnap Manager with Windows Vista
- Use ScanSnap automatic image rotation function with Korean documents
- Switch linked applications by launching the desired application
- Use new default profiles (Windows Vista)
- Configure carrier sheet settings to meet the attributes of each profile
- You can now add up to 10 custom sizes by using the Additional custom size settings dialog box
- This version of the program offers the Auto Length checkbox in the Additional custom size settings dialog box to enable automatic length detection
- You can now change the compression rate in five levels in color high compression mode
- You can now add up to 10 applications in the Application list
- With this version of the program, you can change the name of files right after the scanning
- With this version of the program, you can continue scanning even after the last document on the scanner is scanned
- You can now add new profiles, which are sets of attributes you can use for scanning
- You can now receive a message that tells you the scanning result
- With this version of the program, you can set the document face up in the ADF

Operating Procedures
Please ensure that previous versions of these applications (ScanSnap Manager, CardMinder) have been installed prior to installing this update.
Be sure that you log into Windows Vista 32-bit as a user with "Administrator" privileges
- Download ScanSnap "Scanner model name" Update Pack (ssv3020up.exe / cm2012.exe) onto your hard drive. Ex: C:\ScanSnap update.
- Shut down any other applications that are running on your system.
- Power off or disconnect the ScanSnap scanner.
- Execute the ScanSnap Update Pack programs one at a time (ssv3020up.exe / cm2012.exe) that you downloaded in step one.
- Although this ScanSnap Update Pack asks that users reboot their system after executing each program, you can avoid having to do this numerous times by selecting "Reboot later". Selecting "Reboot later" will enable you to complete upgrading your ScanSnap with only one reboot.
- Now that you have completed updating your affected applications (ScanSnap Manager, CardMinder), please refer to "README" of ScanSnap Manager and "README" of CardMinder prior to activating it.
- Applications affected by this ScanSnap fi-5110EOX Update Pack (Vista support) are not automatically downloaded by "online update".
