Fujitsu software provides a hosting platform that links readers and RFID tag data to business applications, ensuring interoperability between various types of tags and a range of different readers. It supports the deployment of AIT systems across a wide variety of operational scenarios. For design flexibility, Fujitsu RFID software provides APIs that support industry standards such as ATA Spec2000 Chapter9 (*1) as well as other APIs that support access to high-capacity AIT devices, such as 64 KByte / 8 KByte RFID tags and RFID Integrated Labels. The server linkage functions, such as Data Exchange and System Adaptor, easily connect tag data to your existing systems and other user's systems. This helps you to implement RFID on your system and utilize the various data more effectively.
Fujitsu has been a formal member of ATA, which leads standardization in the civil aviation industry, and actively contributed to discussions about the technology and standards for data formats. We are also a member of EPCglobal™ (*2) to support the early adoption of draft standards and drive global standardization activity of RFID memory format.
*1 ATA Spec2000 Chapter 9: A document that stipulates the standards established by the Air Transport Association (ATA) regarding matters such as the procedures for exchanging and processing information relating to the materials used in aircraft components and their reliability. Chapter 9 specifies comprehensive standards relating to the barcodes, 2Dcodes and RFID tags that can be attached to components.
*2 EPCglobal™: A transmission standard for data transmission between UHF-RFID readers/writers and tags.
Our RFID Data Management Pro makes it easy to capture ATA records and other data from standard RFID tags by using mobile computers or fixed-position readers. Single, dual and multiple record data formats defined in the latest ATA Spec 2000 are all supported.
These improved data management capabilities can be used for automating traditional work processes in order to improve accuracy and reduce recordkeeping time in production, maintenance, inspection, authentication, inventory management activities.
Our RFID Label Design and Encoding Management Pro software gives aerospace manufacturers, parts suppliers, MROs and airlines everything required to design, populate and error-check ATA Spec 2000 and Department of Defense Unique Identification (UID)-compliant part ID labels for RFID printer/encoders.
Pre-built templates ensure that labels include the right fields and follow the right data formats, while high-level interfaces can extract data directly from Oracle, SAP and other enterprise systems to minimize data entry requirements and prevent errors.
Fujitsu's RFID Tracking Pro provides the foundation for introducing RFID data collection and management to enterprise operations. It is highly scalable and configurable so you can quickly create new RFID-enabled business processes without replacing the systems that you already have: RFID Tracking Pro comes with the tools to develop RFID-enabled work processes and integrate them with your existing systems. It also gives you a head start for rapid RFID deployment by providing the fundamental modules for part tracking and validation.
