Fujitsu's Optical Submarine Repeater (REP) is of the latest design, fully qualified, and the most reliable in the industry. In fact, Fujitsu has supplied more than 2,500 Repeaters and has never experienced a single failure of a repeater in commercial service in almost 40 years of our submarine networks operating worldwide.
