This tool, GL Taxonomy Editor is a taxonomy edit tool for XBRL GL taxonomy called GL 2005. This application can edit any taxonomy component and/or create extension taxonomy along with XBRL GL taxonomy frame work. This GL taxonomy editor works as general taxonomy editor. GL Taxonomy Editor is useful not only as an editor but also as a taxonomy browser and a tool for learning about the XBRL GL 2005.
Note that we provide here only add-on files to Taxonomy Editor & Instance Creator. In order to run GL Taxonomy Editor, therefore, you need to have Taxonomy Editor & Instance Creator downloaded and extracted as well. Please merge the both. The folder structures of the these two bunches of extracted files are very similar and thus the merging procedure will be self-evident. In case there is anything unclear, please read the section of "Installation" written below.
