Here, Fujitsu plans to shorten the period for purchasing and manufacturing plans by having necessary volume calculation, contract information, supplier quote, delivery time, registering inventory and eliminating time lag due to time differences. Also, glovia.com provides functions to realize SCM for the automotive industry, while Manugistics's SCP software 'Supply-C' and integrated GLOVIA/SCP provide a SCM solution.
