Ultra high speed file transfer engine with high reliability has been produced by using the latest technology RPS (Random Packet stream) program which has been developed by Fujitsu Laboratories.

Combine UDP transfer with RPS technology

You can get faster file transfer by using UDP because less network resource is devoted to data integrity verification while transferring, but as a trade off, consistency of transferred data will not be as good as TCP.

RPS is a program that has been developed to provide perfect reliability for UDP communication.

RPS monitors received data and attempts to reconstruct lost and/or out of sequence packets. Using unique algorithms, RPS will try to do this without requesting for re-transmission.

In case of severe packet loss, and RPS could not re-create the packets, RPS will request a re-transmission of the missing packets, therefore only in severe cases will RPS request for re-transmission of packets.

As a result, BI.DAN-GUN is a highly reliable, high speed file transfer engine.

Approx. 20 times faster than FTP between Japan and EU.

Between Japan and Belgium, BI.DAN-GUN was recorded to be 20 times faster than FTP, and 1.5 times faster than WAN Optimization Service product provided by competitor.

In a high latency test connection between Japan and Thailand, BI.DAN-GUN was 3.5 times faster than WAN Optimization Service product provided by competitor. BI.DAN-GUN was able to minimize the number of re-sent data compared to other products because of the RPS function.
