Concept

Fujitsu's FlexRay ASSP will have the following features.

• The first version of MB88121 available since Septemeber 2005 supports FlexRay protocol Version 2.0 (ES1).
  It features the PreBeta2 release of the ERAY core from Bosch. A product supporting FlexRay protocol version 2.1 (ES2) will become available in sample quantities e/o November 2005.
• QFP64 package
  0.5 pin pitch/10 x 10 mm (M03-package)
• Single supply voltage
• Clock specification
  4/5/8/10 MHz quartz
  Square wave input 40 MHz or 80 MHz (for test purposes)
• Parallel host interface
  Configurable parallel host interface compatible with 8bit, 18bit, 32bit MCU.
  Msx. Frequency 33 MHz (target)
• Serial host interface
  The serial host interface will be supported by ES3.
