Fujitsu performance testing of ETERNUS8000 model 1100 storage system based on SPCBenchmark-2™, the Storage Performance Council's latest industry storage benchmark, has achieved world-class results. (*Note 1)
SPC2 benchmark is designed to show an aggregate performance of the storage subsystem for the large-sized, sequential access environment.
SPC-2 consists of three distinct workload profiles :
Large file processing,
Large database queries,
and Video on Demand.
ETERNUS8000 model 1100 demonstrates the world's best record as an enterprise class storage system in both SPC-2 MBPS™ at 3,480.68 and Price- Performance record at $238.93/MBPS (*Note 2).
