ETERNUS Disk Storage Systems performed connectivity verification with ONStor™ Clustered NAS Gateway.
- Enables a portion of an ETERNUS disk storage system to be used as NAS.
February 9, 2009
Fujitsu has completed connectivity verification of its ETERNUS disk storage systems with ONStor™ Clustered NAS Gateway.
ONStor™ Clustered NAS Gateway enables a portion of the SAN storage area to be used as NAS. This means a single SAN storage can be used for both SAN and NAS, and can leverage storage investments. Being able to interoperate with multiple vendor disk storage systems, it is quite different from conventional modular NAS, which requires dedicated disks and a gateway type NAS offered as a disk storage system option.
In this verification using ONStor™ Clustered NAS Gateway and ETERNUS disk storage systems, multiple operational tests, including client access checking and data integrity verification with different data patterns, were all successfully completed.
