Feburary 8, 2008

ETERNUS2000 offers the choice of iSCSI and Fibre Channel host interfaces.
iSCSI host interfaces make use of Ethernet technology to provide more economical storage network connections. Using this inexpensive, familiar technology, customers who may have been hesitant to implement SAN systems previously are now able to build highly scalable environments at lower-cost. Implementation is simple, without the need for additional knowledge and workloads usually associated with Fibre Channel connections.
In addition, ETERNUS2000 supports UNIX(*Note), Linux, and Windows operating systems.
With such connection flexibility and support for the world's most popular server operating systems, ETERNUS2000 ensures you can optimize your server connections and improve your system environment.
*Note: UNIX is supported only when using a Fibre Channel host interface.
