Non-stop RAID group capacity expansion - Logical Device Expansion
The Logical Device Expansion function provides increased capacity for a RAID group by real-time addition of disk drives while operations continue uninterrupted. This allows for the deployment and expansion of logical volumes (LUN) in 'non-stop' environments.
Expansion of a RAID5 (3+1) group to RAID5 (7+1) using spare disk drives and definition of a new LUN2 to cover the additional space.

Addition of new disk drives to convert RAID5 (4+1) to RAID 1+0 (4+4)

Benefits
- Enables RAID group capacity increases by adding disk drives while retaining data
- Enables reorganization of RAID groups to different levels and different capacities at the same time
