Data block check codes for improved data integrity - Data Block Guard
Data consistency in ETERNUS storage is guaranteed and verified using check codes. These are added to the data and verified at multiple checkpoints along the data transmission routes to ensure operational accuracy and storage integrity.
Data is checed at Channel Adapters (CAs) and Device Adapters (DAs). (See the figure below.)
