Fujitsu has verified that ETERNUS AS500 Archive Storage can cooperate successfully with Symantec Enterprise Vault from Symantec.

Symantec Enterprise Vault, a software-based intelligent archiving platform, stores, manages, and retrieves corporate data in email systems, file server environments, content management and collaboration systems. Enterprise Vault, using intelligent classification engines, manages data to improve storage and protection of corporate information while reducing storage costs and management workloads.

The combination of Symantec Enterprise Vault and ETERNUS AS500 Archive Storage, a Content Aware Storage product provides a policy based information management capability. Available for multiple storage systems, using disks and tapes, it improves storage utilization efficiency and reduces costs. Further, the automated retention/disposal policy settings, enables enterprises to better comply with strict audit regulations.
