Technology focused on Business Continuity and Business Efficiency
For some time Fujitsu's customer research has shown a continued focus by the business community on the need for continuity
of business operation and effective resource use for business development and efficiency. The technology embodied in
these more powerful small systems continues that work.
Based on PRIMEPOWER's benchmark winning performance these systems are a balanced powerhouse of world-class technology. Bus
technology, based on high performance cross bar switching developed for supercomputers, and GHz class processors, with "on
chip" multi-access/non-blocking cache, that have already been proven on Enterprise class systems. Added to this is a series of in-built hardware technologies that don't just monitor the system but actually autonomously
correct problems wherever they occur. The result is excellent linear scalability, powerful performance and very high levels
of system stability.
Deploying PRIMEPOWER servers
With new models like PRIMEPOWER 250 and 450 calling them low-end or workgroup class systems is almost a misnomer. Their
power and stability characteristics make them more than ideal tier 1 and tier 2 platforms for data centers. They also make
excellent application engines, particularly in situations where user demand is unpredictable or where high levels of
application availability is required.

As well as proving their Java performance as highly suitable servers for web application systems the same throughput ability
also makes then ideal as components in enterprise class ERP/CRM business solutions, where different applications need to be
on separate servers.
