PRIMEPOWER shows its versatility by taking 1st and 2nd place in SPECjbb®2000 Java Benchmark world record
Tokyo 25/01/2005. Fujitsu PRIMEPOWER with SPARC64™ V processors has once again shown its power, versatility, and scalability with the announcement of two new world-record benchmark results. In its high perfor mance computing configuration a PRIMEPOWER HPC 2500 with 120 x 2.08GHz processors, has taken the No.1 world-record position in the SPECjbb®2000 java benchmark with 2,438,088 operations per second. In its standard commercial configuration, a PRIMEPOWER 2500 with 128 x 1.82GHz processors holds the world number two position with 2,214,996 operations per second.
