• Multi-core multi-thread processor SPARC64™ VI  
  SPARC64™ VI enhances the high performance and high reliability features of SPARC64 V and further boosts performance using multi-core and multi-thread per core technology imbedded on a single CPU chip.
• High Throughput UltraSPARC T2/T2 Plus Processors 
  As a result of their multi-thread/multi-core processors, SPARC Enterprise Models T5240 and T5140 using UltraSPARC T2 Plus, and Models T5220 and T5120 using UltraSPARC T2, have twice the throughput of previous models.
• High Throughput UltraSPARC T1 processor 
  UltraSPARC T1 achieves both high processor throughput and low power consumption.This processor suits server applications, especially those with high multithreading characteristics.
• Crossbar based high speed data transfer  
  SPARC Enterprise mid-range and high-end servers incorporate high speed and wide bandwidth crossbars inherited from supercomputer high speed interconnect technology.
• I/O interfaces incorporated in the processor 
  With T5240/T5140/T5220/T5120 servers, components such as memory controllers, PCI-Express interface controllers and 10Gbps Ethernet interface controllers are integrated onto the CPU chip.
• JBus Interconnect 
  In SPARC Enterprise T2000 and T1000, processor and I/O controller are connected by Jbus interconnect. Jbus interconnect with its simple address and data structure, achieves max 3.1GB/s data transfer rates.
• The advanced I/O interface boosts I/O performance   
  As a result of data traffic growth and serial interface transmission speed boosts serial transmission has taken over previous parallel transmission methods.
• Memory interleave improves large memory access
