Based on SPARC V9 architecture, the open standard developed and distributed by SPARC International, Inc., SPARC64™ VI microprocessor are developed by Fujitsu as an architectural extension to high-end SPARC microprocessors. The SPARC64 VI processors fully conform to and are certified for that common instruction set architecture.
