Dual-Core Intel® Itanium® Processor
Up to 32 Dual-Core Intel® Itanium® Processor (9150M/1.66GHz /24MB L3 Cache), memory of 2TB (8GB x 256unit) and 136.4GB/sec inter-connect bandwidth are used to achieve
the highest performance in the market.

Fujitsu's own Chipsets
Fujitsu's technology including, main circuit redundancy, extensive use of ECC, multi-access memory access and synchronous
operation with external interfaces, drastically improves reliability and performance on the mother board, and enables efficient
large-scale SMP configuration.

I/O units with large capacity disks
Up to of 4.7TB(32x147GB) of internal disk and 128 PCI-X cards (basic cabinet 32 + 96 in eight optional PCI_Boxes) are supported.
All hardware resources including motherboards, power-supply units and cooling fans are redundant and can be hot-swapped.
Reliability and Availability
Partition technology
Each server cabinet can be divided into a maximum of 16 independent partitions, with each running different operating systems and applications. Flexibility and resource management is provided by the separate I/O mechanism which enables easy rearrangement of disks and/or peripherals connected to each partition. This and the Dynamic Partitioning(DP) function which supports system configuration change without partition reboot, also guarantee optimization of all system resources and the utmost in availability.
System Mirror function
A world’s first in an IA server, the "System Mirror" enhances system availability by enabling the isolation of faulty components without needing to stop the system. Components on the System Board (SB), memory, chipsets and IO_Unit interconnects, are all redundant and operate fully synchronized for full fault tolerance.
Predictive Monitoring
A predictive monitoring function is installed as standard on each server's Management Board (MMB)(also fully mirrored) to maintain availability and reduce the operations management burden. This constantly monitors the status of the whole system to automatically identify and isolate components showing problem signs before they developed into a fatal fault.

Multi-operating System Support
Red Hat® Enterprise Linux®, SUSE® Linux Enterprise Server, and Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008 are fully supported to maintain compatibility with existing assets while enhancing the reliability required for mission critical systems.
