PRIMERGY Excels in Performance per Watt

The new Fujitsu server PRIMERGY helps reduce datacenter costs related to power consumption during general server operations.

With its Cool-Safe™ technology, PRIMERGY provides a higher level of performance using the same power consumption as other x86 servers.

PRIMERGY models consistently improve performance while maintaining the same level of power consumption - PRIMERGY RX300 S8 improved its performance per watt by 60% compared to the predecessor model as seen in the SPECpower_ssj2008 result. *1

(*1) The benchmark SPECpower_ssj2008, evaluates performance efficiency in terms of power consumption. The high benchmark score indicates a higher performance using the same level of power consumption.

Performance improvement for data intensive applications

The new PRIMERGY models including RX300 S8 and RX350 S8, provide superior server based infrastructure for data intensive applications like database applications, data analysis, online games, and the provision of content streaming.
These PRIMERGY models combined with the following SSD products can double data access throughput as shown in chart below.

 Cool Safe™ advanced Thermal Design helps reduce power consumption by 20-30%

With an efficient cooling system, the new PRIMERGY server's operational temperature range changes from 10 – 35ºC to 5 - 40ºC.

By increasing the minimum operating temperature by 5ºC, air conditioning running costs can be reduced by approximately 20 - 30%.

Cool-Safe™ Advanced Thermal Design is able to optimize cooling in hot spot areas by increasing this temperature range.

PRIMERGY is Easily Integrated with Existing Datacenter Management Software

 System management operations can be simplified by merging ServerView Suite with 3rd party system management software

ServerView Suite for Fujitsu PRIMERGY can simplify server lifecycle management with the automation of installation & deployment, error prevention by the early detection of problems , and by providing assistance for maintenance operations.

Furthermore, customers don't need to worry about additional training costs for the new servers when they are integrated into the existing datacenter.
