PRIMERGY BX620 S4 provides a range of future oriented technologies; with processors (Quad/Dual-Core), memory (FBD, extended mirroring), and 2.5 inch SAS hard disk drives.
Innovative use of such capabilities enables PRIMERGY BX620 S4 customers to run much larger applications than on previous Dual-Core Server Blades. The SAS hard disk drives with RAID1 better meet your growing demands for higher levels of data security.

Architecture & Options

■Up to 10 industry-standard LAN ports.

PRIMERGY BX620 S4 can accommodate up to 10 industry-standard LAN ports, among the highest number in the industry(1), thereby simplifying network design during server consolidation. and PRIMERGY BX620 S4 come standard with six ports, but can be expanded with a pair of LAN ports or Fibre Channel ports for more flexibility in configuring highly concentrated systems, as well as with a pair of front-side LAN ports for a total of ten. This makes these blade servers simple to configure to networks and supports greater flexibility in network configuration.

PRIMERGY SX650 Storage Blade

SX650

The PRIMERGY SX650 storage blade is designed for concurrent installation in the same BX600 S3 Blade Server System Unit used to house PRIMERGY BX620 S4 Server Blades. A single SX650 Storage Blade can be connected to a single BX620 S4 Server Blade. Up to 4 storage blades can be mounted in the BX600 S3 with each SX650 Storage Blade able to hold up to five 2.5 inch SAS hard disk drives.
