Fujitsu The Possibilities are Infinite

fi-Series Features

Speedy, efficient scanning

Automatic Document Feeders

Fujitsu brand fi-Series scanners come armed with ultra efficient automatic document feeders (ADF) that are indispensable for quickly scanning large volumes of paper documents. These ADFs reduce pre-scanning processes by guaranteeing that documents are fed into the scanner one sheet at a time.
Note: The fi-60F flatbed scanner does not support an ADF.

Duplex scanning

Most fi-Series scanners are equipped with two CCD sensors that enable them to scan both sides of a double sided document in a single pass. In addition to faster scanning, this feature frees operators from troublesome and time consuming tasks, such as having turning double sided documents over for rescanning purposes.

Document feedability-fi-Series scanners guarantee stable document feedability

Straight path feeding routes

Most Fujitsu brand fi-Series scanners are designed with virtually straight paper paths that facilitate smooth, jam free, paper feedability. The result is that users can feel assured that their valuable documents will not become curled or wrinkled by the same type of paper jams that occur in scanners made by other makers.

Multi Feed Detection Sensor Supportability

(The following fi-Series scanners support multi feed detection sensors: fi-5900C, fi-4860C2, fi-6770(A), fi-6750S, fi-6670(A), fi-5530C2, fi-6240, fi-6140, fi-6230, fi-6130 and the fi-6010N)

Multi feed sensors detect whenever two or more documents have been simultaneously fed into an fi-Series scanner, regardless of document weight, size or color. The result is improved scanning efficiency.

Note1: Both the fi-4340C and the fi-5110C are equipped with IR multi feed detection sensors.
Note2: Neither the Fujitsu fi-5015C nor the fi-60F support multi feed sensors.

Image processing: High quality images and auto-correction features

CCD Sensors

Fujitsu brand fi-Series scanners are equipped with charge coupled devices (CCDs), whose deep focus depths guarantee excellent image generation. As a result, flawless images with clearly readable text are guaranteed, even when documents are not lying perfectly flat against the CCD unit.

Note: The fi-60F scanner uses CIS sensors instead of CCD sensors.

Excellent scanning efficiency.

Easy maintenance

In the rare event that a document does become jammed in an fi-Series scanner, users can easily remove it without fear of damage by opening the scanner's ADF unit. Furthermore, even users who are not familiar with scanners can easily change fi-Series pick rollers and pad units on their own.
