Introduction

Fujitsu's FRX-3E next-generation long-haul microwave radio system represents a big step toward the Human-Centric Intelligent Society of tomorrow, where the 4th-generation mobile broadband network will usher in a world of unprecedented comfort, convenience and satisfaction.

Supporting both SDH and Ethernet transports on a single platform, the FRX-3E is a reliable, robust and scalable solution for long haul, high capacity wireless backhauling applications. By providing native SDH traffic and native Carrier Class Ethernet traffic simultaneously, it makes possible seamless migration from TDM networks to packet networks in any deployment scenario.

Designed to meet the ever-growing demands placed on rapidly evolving mobile networks, particularly when those networks must migrate to IP-based transport toward the LTE era, it features an innovative architecture that makes for very simple user operation.

With the FRX-3E you can deploy microwave transmission networks quickly and easily, while providing a cost-effective route for managing both CAPEX and OPEX.
