ETERNUS Multipath Driver

Overview

ETERNUS Multipath Driver software achieves high-reliability and performance systems due to multipath connection between storages and servers. Provided in Solaris, Windows and Linux versions.

If a path failure should occur, ETERNUS Mutpath Driver with its path failover function switches access path. This can avoid access stoppage therefore improves system reliability. In addition, further improved system performance is also ensured with the load balancing function using multiple paths.

Features

Improves system reliability with redundant paths (Path-failover)

In the event of failure, redundant paths ensure continuous access by switching traffic to the alternate paths avoiding system halt.

Load balancing function provides enhanced system performance

Path bottlenecks can be eliminated by distributing access using multiple access paths concurrently. And this improves system performance.
