Fujitsu Expands Line of Standard, Wide-Aspect Ratio Touch Panels

Sunnyvale, CA, May 15, 2008 – Responding to the market growth of wide-aspect ratio LCDs, Fujitsu Components America, Inc. today announced an expanded line-up of standard, wide-aspect ratio, 4-wire resistive touch panels. The devices fit available wide-aspect ratio LCDs to eliminate custom development costs for OEMs and shorten their product time-to-market.

Fujitsu Demos Production Samples of Longer Life Resistive Touch Panels

Sunnyvale, CA, May 16, 2007 – Fujitsu Components America, Inc. today released production samples of its next-generation, resistive touch panels using an organic conductive polymer material. The new, custom touch panels offer five times the durability and comparable optical properties of conventional ITO (Indium Tin Oxide)-film panels at a small price premium. Demonstrations of the new panels will highlight the Fujitsu booth (1548) during the Society for Information Display exhibits held May 22-24 in Long Beach, California.

Fujitsu Announces Production Schedule for Industry's First Conductive Polymer Film Touch Panels

Sunnyvale, CA , May 25, 2004 – Fujitsu Components America, Inc., today announced it will begin North American marketing efforts for new resistive touch panels that use an extremely durable conductive polymer film and cost less to produce than conventional resistive touch panels. An industry-first technology developed by Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd. and Fujitsu Component Limited, the custom touch panels will start sampling in early 2005 with production following in Q2 2005.

Fujitsu Initiates Legal Action Against Samsung SDI

Tokyo, April 7, 2004 – Fujitsu Limited today announced that it has asserted patent infringement claims against Samsung Japan Corporation in Tokyo District Court and Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. in U.S. Federal District Court in Los Angeles, California. Fujitsu seeks a court order against future importation and sales of infringing PDP products, and compensation for past infringement. In addition, the company is seeking administrative injunctive relief under a Japanese customs and tariffs law, which prohibits importation of products that infringe Japanese patents.

Fujitsu and AU Optronics to Collaborate in Liquid Crystal Displays

Tokyo, January 28, 2003 – Fujitsu Limited and Fujitsu Display Technologies Corporation today announced that they have signed a memorandum of understanding to undertake a wide-ranging collaboration in the field of liquid crystal displays (LCDs) with AU Optronics Corporation of Taiwan. As part of the collaboration, AU Optronics will take a 20% equity share in Fujitsu Display Technologies, currently a wholly owned subsidiary that develops, manufactures and markets LCDs, with the remaining 80% to be held by Fujitsu Limited.
