Fujitsu TP-X II 500 Series Point-of-Sale Controllers Deliver Flexibility and High Performance

Sunnyvale, CA, September 20, 2011 – Fujitsu today announced the TP-X II 500 Series point-of-sale (POS) controller family designed for retailers that require powerful performance, flexibility and connectivity in a more environmentally sustainable retailing platform. The highly configurable third release of the successful TP-X POS solution incorporates 2nd generation Intel® Core™ i3, i5 and Pentium® processors, delivering the power of a desktop computer in two mobile laptop form factors that let retailers create customer touch points in the most diverse and challenging environments. The retail-hardened TP-X II 500 Series controllers run cooler and consume less power, increasing reliability while reducing costs. Fujitsu Retail Suite Supports Global Retailers With Single, Secure, Easy-to-Integrate Solution

Sunnyvale, CA, August 23, 2011 – Fujitsu announced the latest version of the Fujitsu Retail Suite, a unified solution for point of sale (POS), retail data management and reporting, the management of customers, returns, and gift cards. Fujitsu Retail Suite version 4.2 increases support for global retailers, making it the perfect solution for companies that want to run the same system for every country in which they operate. The new version also delivers an enhanced view of customers across all selling channels, promoting greater customer satisfaction. Version 4.2 now features expanded configuration capabilities for ease of use, workflow and branding. Fujitsu Cloud Service Employed by Metawater for Water Business Cloud

Tokyo, June 7, 2011 – Fujitsu today announced that its On-Demand Virtual System Service cloud service is being employed by Metawater Co., Ltd., which supports the water and sewer operations of local governments, as the system platform for Metawater's new water business cloud. Through its newly-built water business cloud, Metawater has been providing regional monitoring services, asset management services, and remote support services since April 2011. By using the water business cloud in their water and sewer operations, local governments or their sub-contractors can use shared information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure at a low cost, without having to individually own an ICT infrastructure. Particularly when it comes to regional monitoring of water and sewer operations, it is anticipated that the water business cloud will cut lifecycle costs, including system deployment and running expenses, by 30% compared to in-house systems.

Fujitsu PROBANK Renewed as Saikyo Bank's Core Banking System

Tokyo, May 11, 2011 – Fujitsu today announced that the Saikyo Bank, Ltd. has renewed its contract to utilize PROBANK, Fujitsu's outsourcing service for core banking functions, for the bank's next core banking system. Renewed operations will start in January 2014.

Fujitsu Brings Energy-Efficient Point-of-Sale Terminal Controllers to North American Retailers

New York, NY, January 10, 2011 – National Retail Federation Convention --Fujitsu today announced that the TP-X II Point of Sale (PoS) controller and TP-X II Coupé are now available to North American retailers. First popularized in Europe, the TP-X II and the TP-X II Coupé, is 40 percent smaller, offers lower power consumption than competitors and savings on energy costs.
