17 December 2008 Germany: SAP and Fujitsu Siemens Computers Collaborate to Deliver Rapid Business Results to the Midmarket
Walldorf/Munich, December 17, 2008 – SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) and Fujitsu Siemens Computers today announced that Fujitsu Siemens Computers is joining the SAP® Business All-in-One fast-start program, putting midsize companies on the fast track to the adoption of specialized business software. Customers will receive SAP® Business All-in-One solutions preinstalled on the Fujitsu Siemens Computers hardware. This combination provides midsized companies a cost-effective solution, helping them to centralize and consolidate their information technology (IT) thereby being enabled to gain operational efficiency. Global in scope, the agreement will be implemented on a country-by-country basis via qualified Fujitsu Siemens Computers partners and SAP value-added resellers throughout 2009.

Tokyo, November 20, 2008 – Fujitsu Limited today announced Interstage® XWand® Version 10, the latest release of its acclaimed XBRL software designed to help companies increase transparency and governance around financial activities. The newest release is one of the industry's first offerings to incorporate the power of business rules in XBRL-based reporting with the adoption of XBRL Formula 1.0, the latest extension to the XBRL specification. Early test results in customer environments have shown significant reductions in the time and cost associated with verifying and submitting financial reports.
12 November 2008 Germany: "My Very First SAS" Eases Access to Tomorrow's Interface Technology for SMEs
Munich, November 12, 2008 – "My very first SAS" is a new package from Fujitsu Siemens Computers designed especially to give SMEs affordable and easy access to Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) interface technology for backing up business-critical applications. With SAS technology, customers gain from fast data transmission rates (3 Gbps per connection,) extreme reliability and flexibility. The package includes the FibreCAT TX08 tape system that can be fitted with an LTO-3 SAS or LTO-4 SAS drive and an SAS controller at no extra cost, as well as the appropriate cables. Also included free of charge are a preferred quality LTO data and cleaning cassette from Fujitsu Siemens Computers, a rack-mount kit and the backup software ARCserve and XOsoft Enterprise Rewinder from CA. In comparison with the costs for the individual components, customers can save more than 20 percent by purchasing "My very first SAS". The bundle is available immediately from the company's sales partners with prices starting at €3,499.

11 April 2008 Japan: Fujitsu Becomes First in Japan to Attain BS25999 Certification in Business Continuity Management System
Tokyo, April 11, 2008 – Fujitsu Limited and Fujitsu FSAS Inc. today announced that their maintenance services business for customer IT infrastructure attained BS25999 certification, the British Standard certification for business continuity management system, on April 8, becoming the first organization in Japan to do so. This achievement was the result of the consulting support the companies received from Fujitsu Research Institute, followed by an independent evaluation that found the companies' world-class business continuity management system to be in full compliance with the certification standard.

Kawasaki, Japan and Sunnyvale, US, April 4, 2008 – Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd. and Fujitsu Laboratories of America, Inc. announced today their joint development of the world's first core technology for automatic verification of Java-based practical-use web applications. It is used to automatically verify if a web application can operate properly to process specified task transactions - referred to as "business specifications", without the need for manually preparing detailed test procedures or test data.

Tokyo, March 17, 2008 – Fujitsu Limited today announced that it has completed development of the Japan Financial Services Agency's (FSA) new EDINET system, an electronic system for publicly listed corporations to file financial reports in accordance with the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law. As the FSA is mandating the submission of XBRL-formatted reports to EDINET beginning with the 2008 fiscal year, the new system began operations today.

SUNNYVALE, CA , January 30, 2008 – Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation announced today the release of its NeoData software product, the latest addition to its suite of modernize-as-you-migrate solutions for legacy mainframe applications. NeoData provides an easy and flexible route for converting VSAM data to Microsoft(R) SQL Server(R) without having to make changes to the COBOL code. Data that might seem to be locked within the COBOL-specific, proprietary formats of the VSAM data system can now be opened up to the richer query environment provided by SQL Server. NeoData provides a Data Mapper tool that handles the challenging aspects of VSAM to SQL migrations, such as multiple record formats and the COBOL OCCURS clause, which often derail attempts to perform this migration manually.
