Tokyo, May 12, 2008 – Fujitsu Limited, a leading provider of IT-based business solutions for the global marketplace, today reported a consolidated operating income of 204.9 billion yen (US$2,049 million) for fiscal 2007 (April 1, 2007 – March 31, 2008), an increase of 12.6% over the previous year. In taking on the additional roles of Interim President and CEO, he will now provide day-to-day leadership until a successor is appointed.
