14 May 2008 Japan: Fujitsu Prevails in Patent Litigation Against Nanya Technology
Tokyo, May 14, 2008 – Fujitsu Limited today announced that Nanya Technology Corporation Japan has withdrawn its appeal against a Tokyo District Court ruling which found that Nanya Technology infringes a Fujitsu patent.

SUNNYVALE, CA , May 13, 2008 – Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation today announced it is partnering with ONStor, Inc., a leading provider of scalable clustered NAS storage solutions for the enterprise, to deliver a highly scalable storage platform that will allow mid-sized to large enterprises to consolidate existing storage islands and simplify the management and protection of unstructured data. The combination of Fujitsu ETERNUS storage systems and the ONStor Bobcat(TM) NAS Gateway creates a highly reliable solution that employs innovative technology to ensure greater throughput, capacity and energy efficiency. As part of the agreement, Fujitsu will resell the ONStor Bobcat NAS Gateway models 2240, 2260 and 2280 with its ETERNUS4000 and ETERNUS8000 storage systems.

12 May 2008 Japan: Fujitsu Reports Fiscal 2007 Financial Results
Tokyo, May 12, 2008 – Fujitsu Limited, a leading provider of IT-based business solutions for the global marketplace, today reported a consolidated operating income of 204.9 billion yen (US$2,049 million) for fiscal 2007 (April 1, 2007 – March 31, 2008), an increase of 12.6% over the previous year. The increase in operating income was primarily attributable to sharply higher sales of solutions/SI, servers, PCs and mobile phones as well as the success of cost control initiatives throughout the Fujitsu Group.
12 May 2008 Japan: Fujitsu to Spin Off Photonics Business in Reorganization
Tokyo, May 12, 2008 – Fujitsu Limited announced today that it will spin off, through a simple absorption-type separation, its photonics manufacturing division and photonics product development division for the Japanese market and transfer the divisions to its wholly owned subsidiary, Fujitsu Access Limited, as of July 1, 2008. The decision was made at a meeting of the Board of Directors today.
12 May 2008 Japan: Notice Regarding Distribution of Dividends from Retained Earnings
Tokyo, May 12, 2008 – Fujitsu Limited announced that its Board of Directors decided today to revise the planned cash dividend payment as indicated below. The company will notify shareholders regarding the distribution of dividends at a later date, following the completion of an audit process and a resolution by the Board of Directors, as required under the Corporate Law.
12 May 2008 Japan: Regarding Losses on Revaluation of Investment Securities and Stocks of Subsidiaries and Affiliates
Tokyo, May 12, 2008 – Fujitsu Limited today announced that in its financial results for fiscal 2007 ended March 31, 2008, it has recognized a loss on the revaluation of investment securities as well as a loss on the revaluation of stocks of subsidiaries and affiliates whose current market value or net worth has declined significantly and is unlikely to be recovered in the future. In addition, a gain on the sale of a portion of investment securities was recognized.

6 May 2008 US: Fujitsu Donates $1 Million to De Anza College -- Campus Planetarium to Be Renamed Fujitsu Planetarium at De Anza College
SILICON VALLEY, CA , May 6, 2008 – Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation today announced it has donated $1 million: $500,000 to the De Anza campus planetarium and $500,000 in in-kind contribution to the college as a whole. In conjunction with the donation, the planetarium will be renamed Fujitsu Planetarium at De Anza College. De Anza will accept the gift and unveil new signage in a ceremony on May 6, 2008, at 10 a.m. in front of the planetarium.

28 April 2008 Japan: Fujitsu to Reorganize Photonics Business
Tokyo, April 28, 2008 – Fujitsu Limited and subsidiary Fujitsu Access Limited announced today that they plan to merge and reorganize their photonic systems businesses in July in order to strengthen their photonics systems development, manufacturing and sales operations for the Japanese market. 16 April 2008 Germany: Fujitsu Siemens Computers Announces Results with a Further Increase in Profitability Despite Slight Dip in Revenues*
Munich, April 16, 2008 – Fujitsu Siemens Computers today reported its financial results for the fiscal year 2007 (FY07). From April 2007 to March 2008, the company increased its profit before tax by 15 percent from 91 to 105 million Euros. The company recorded just above 6.6 billion euros in revenue, which is a decrease of 4,9 percent reflecting the company’s strategic business changes and the difficult market environment.

Tokyo, January 31, 2008 – Fujitsu Limited today announced that in its financial results for the third quarter of fiscal 2007 ended December 31, 2007, it has recognized a loss on the revaluation of investment securities whose current market value has declined significantly and is unlikely to be recovered in the future. These securities are classified as "available-for-sale securities" in Article 8, Paragraph 22 of the Regulations for Terminology, Forms and Preparation of Financial Statements, financial reporting guidelines issued by Japan's Financial Services Agency.

30 January 2008 Japan: Fujitsu and Fujitsu Network Communications File Patent Infringement Lawsuit against Tellabs
Tokyo, January 30, 2008 – Fujitsu Limited and Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc. ("Fujitsu") announced today that they filed a patent infringement lawsuit on January 29, 2008 (U.S. time) against Tellabs, Inc. and Tellabs Operations, Inc. ("Tellabs") in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Fujitsu seeks monetary damages and an injunction against Tellabs' future infringement of Fujitsu's patents.

21 January 2008 Japan: Fujitsu to Realign and Strengthen LSI Business
Tokyo, January 21, 2008 – Fujitsu Limited announced today its decision to pursue the reorganization of its LSI business divisions into a new subsidiary scheduled to be established within March 2008. The decision was approved at a Board of Directors meeting held today, based on careful consideration that Fujitsu had given this matter over a significant period of time. 14 January 2008 US: Fujitsu Appoints Tetsuo Urano as Interim President and CEO of Fujitsu Consulting
Edison, NJ, January 14, 2008 – Fujitsu Consulting, the North America consulting and services arm of Fujitsu Limited, today announced that Tetsuo Urano the current Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fujitsu Consulting has also been appointed as the company’s interim President and CEO. Mr. Urano replaces John Rose, who has left the company. In his role as Chairman, Mr. Urano has been directly involved in the company’s current strategic direction and the development of its operational capabilities. In taking on the additional roles of Interim President and CEO, he will now provide day-to-day leadership until a successor is appointed.
