Fujitsu Announces Appointment of New Corporate Executive Officer

Fujitsu and Advantest Establish Joint Venture for LSI Prototyping Services: e-Shuttle, Inc.

Tokyo, October 30, 2006 – Tokyo, October 30, 2006 - Fujitsu Limited and Advantest Corporation today announced their agreement to establish on November 1 a new joint venture, e-Shuttle, Inc., to provide prototyping services for leading-edge large-scale integrated circuit (LSI) semiconductors. e-Shuttle will use electron beam direct lithography technology that combines advanced semiconductor process technologies with electron beam exposure systems, to provide new LSI prototyping services for 65nm process technology. The services are scheduled to start in the first half of fiscal 2007 (April - September).

Fujitsu Reports Fiscal 2006 First-Half Financial Results

Tokyo, October 26, 2006 – Fujitsu Limited, a leader in customer-focused IT and communications solutions for the global marketplace, today reported consolidated net sales of 2,362.3 billion yen (approximately US$20,020 million*) for the first half of fiscal 2006 (April 1, 2006 - September 30, 2006), an increase of 7.8% over the first half of fiscal 2005. The solid sales results were driven by double-digit year-on-year overseas sales growth in each of the company’s three major business segments, with modest growth in Japan. Overseas sales of IT services were exceptionally strong, rising 25.8% over the first half of fiscal 2005 on continued growth in outsourcing services in the UK and the impact of acquisitions in North America.

Fujitsu Revises Fiscal 2006 First-Half Financial Results Forecasts

The company's full-year fiscal 2006 earnings forecasts (consolidated and unconsolidated) remain unchanged.

Fujitsu to Purchase Semiconductor Fabs in Japan from Spansion

Tokyo, September 28, 2006 – Fujitsu Limited today announced that it has signed an agreement today with Spansion Japan Limited to purchase Spansion Japan's semiconductor fabs in Japan known as JV1 and JV2, located in the city of Aizu-Wakamatsu in Fukushima prefecture of northeastern Japan. As an extension of Fujitsu's ongoing business strategy of focusing on logic large-scale integrated circuit (LSI) devices, in addition to production of advanced logic LSI devices at its 300mm fab in Mie, Japan, as part of its strategy to reinforce its standard logic LSI device business Fujitsu will increase production at JV1 and JV2 with a focus on production of flash memory-embedded microcontrollers that anticipated to see market growth. For the immediate future, Fujitsu will continue to manufacture certain flash memory products for Spansion that are currently manufactured at fabs JV1 and JV2 under their foundry arrangement.

Fujitsu and Advantest to Establish Joint Venture to Create Semiconductor Prototypes Using Electron Beam Direct Lithography

Tokyo, September 15, 2006 – Fujitsu Limited and Advantest Corporation today announced plans to establish a joint venture to create prototype semiconductors by using electron beam direct lithography, a technology that combines 65 nanometer (nm) and 45 nm semiconductor process technologies with electron beam exposure devices. The companies are currently discussing the terms of a formal contract, targeting November for this year for establishment of the joint venture.

Fujitsu Reports Fiscal 2006 First-Quarter Financial Results

Tokyo, July 27, 2006 – Fujitsu Limited, a leader in customer-focused IT and communications solutions for the global marketplace, today reported consolidated net sales of 1,102.8 billion yen (approximately US$9,674 million*) for the first quarter of fiscal 2006 (April 1, 2006 - June 30, 2006), a 7.5% increase over the same period in the previous fiscal year. A more than 20% year-on-year increase in first-quarter overseas sales offset flat sales in Japan. Strong performers in overseas markets, where all three of the company’s business segments recorded revenue gains, ranged from optical transmission systems and outsourcing services to logic LSI devices, hard disk drives and personal computers.

Fujitsu Elevates Two Key Executives To Accelerate Growth in North America

Sunnyvale, CA, June 28, 2006 – Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation President and CEO Toshio Morohoshi today was promoted to the newly created position of corporate vice president and executive officer of Fujitsu Limited. In his new role, Morohoshi is responsible for worldwide marketing, underscoring the global company's commitment to accelerating growth in North America. Farhat Ali, COO and CFO was named as Morohoshi's successor, effective July 1, 2006. Morohoshi, a 25-year Fujitsu veteran who headed Fujitsu Computer Systems since its founding in 2003, is credited with building Fujitsu group North American revenues to $3.5 billion in 2005. In his new position, which returns him to Fujitsu Limited in Japan, Morohoshi further ensures that the worldwide company will execute in North America and successfully reach its aggressive growth goal of $10 billion by 2010.

Tokyo, April 27, 2006 – Fujitsu Limited, a leader in customer-focused IT and communications solutions for the global marketplace, today reported consolidated net sales of 4,791.4 billion yen (approximately US$40,605 million) for fiscal year 2005 (April 1, 2005 - March 31, 2006), a slight increase over the net sales recorded in the previous fiscal year. Solid business results outside Japan, including robust sales of optical transmission systems in North America, outsourcing services in the UK, and hard disk drives in overseas markets, helped to offset sales declines in servers and PCs in Japan.

Fujitsu Consulting to Acquire Rapidigm, Increasing its North American Consulting Capacity by More Than 75%

Edison, NJ, and Pittsburgh, PA, February 22, 2006 – Fujitsu Consulting Inc. and Rapidigm, Inc. today announced that the companies have entered into a Definitive Agreement whereby Fujitsu Consulting will acquire Rapidigm, a Pittsburgh, PA-based privately-held information technology consulting and integration firm with offices in 22 major metropolitan markets in the United States and offshore development centers in India. Fujitsu Consulting Acquires Illinois-based Greenbrier & Russel

Chicago, IL, February 15, 2006 – Fujitsu Consulting today announced that it has acquired the business and capabilities of Greenbrier & Russel (G&R), a privately-held business and technology services firm based in Schaumburg, IL. Fujitsu Records Valuation Loss on Investment and Revises Fiscal 2005 Full-Year Unconsolidated Financial Results Forecast

Tokyo, January 31, 2006 – Fujitsu Limited today announced that, with respect to its unconsolidated financial results, it has recorded a valuation loss on investment in its U.S.-based affiliated company, Spansion Inc. (hereafter, “Spansion”), resulting from its initial public offering on the NASDAQ stock market last December. Along with this, as described below, Fujitsu has revised its unconsolidated earnings forecast for the full-year fiscal period ending March 2006, which it had previously announced on October 27, 2005. Fujitsu's full-year consolidated earnings forecast remains unchanged.

Fujitsu Reports FY 2005 Third-Quarter Financial Results

Tokyo, January 31, 2006 – Fujitsu Limited, a leader in customer-focused IT and communications solutions for the global marketplace, today reported consolidated net sales of 1,121.4 billion yen (approximately US$9,504 million*) for the third quarter of fiscal 2005 (October 1, 2005 – December 31, 2005), an increase of 7.5% over the third quarter of fiscal 2004. Excluding the impact of changes in accounting policies and restructuring, sales increased by 7%. Growth was led by sharply higher overseas sales of outsourcing services, UNIX servers, PCs, optical transmission systems, hard disk drives (HDDs), and LSI devices, while higher sales of network products in Japan helped to offset sales declines in servers and other system products.

Fujitsu to Construct New Fab for Logic Chips Employing 65nm Process Technology and 300mm Wafers

Tokyo, January 11, 2006 – Fujitsu Limited today announced that it will construct a new fab to mass-produce logic semiconductors employing leading-edge 65-nanometer (nm) process technology and 300 millimeter (mm) wafers. The fab will be constructed at Fujitsu's Mie semiconductor plant, in Mie prefecture of central Japan, as the second 300mm fab of the plant and will be referred to as 300mm Fab No.2. In addition to accommodating increasing demand for semiconductors produced using advanced processes through construction of the new fab, by offering high-performance products based on leading-edge technology and providing optimized solutions that maximize its technical expertise, Fujitsu will make every effort to continue to be a trusted business partner to its customers.
