Fujitsu Announces Hard Disk Drive Shipment Results For Second Calendar Quarter of 2006

Sunnyvale, CA, July 31, 2006 – Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., one of the world's leading suppliers of innovative computer products including hard disk drives, peripherals and biometric security solutions, today announced its second quarter hard disk drive shipment results. During the second quarter, Fujitsu shipments of mobile hard disk drives (HDDs) surpassed 5.24M units, an increase of nearly 18% over the same quarter in 2005. In addition, strong execution on the enterprise side resulted in a significant improvement of 18% from the previous quarter, with shipments of enterprise HDDs totaling 1.42M units.

Fujitsu Reports Fiscal 2006 First-Quarter Financial Results

Tokyo, July 27, 2006 – Fujitsu Limited, a leader in customer-focused IT and communications solutions for the global marketplace, today reported consolidated net sales of 1,102.8 billion yen (approximately US$9,674 million*) for the first quarter of fiscal 2006 (April 1, 2006 - June 30, 2006), a 7.5% increase over the same period in the previous fiscal year. A more than 20% year-on-year increase in first-quarter overseas sales offset flat sales in Japan. Strong performers in overseas markets, where all three of the company’s business segments recorded revenue gains, ranged from optical transmission systems and outsourcing services to logic LSI devices, hard disk drives and personal computers.

Fujitsu Revises Fiscal 2006 First-Half Financial Results Forecast

Tokyo, July 27, 2006 – Fujitsu Limited today revised its consolidated earnings forecast for the first half of fiscal 2006 (April 1, 2006 – September 30, 2006) as shown below. The forecast was previously issued on April 27, 2006 at the time of Fujitsu's fiscal 2005 financial results announcement. The company's full-year fiscal 2006 earnings forecast remains unchanged.

American Heart Association Nets Record Proceeds From "Swing Fore Heart" Golf Classic
