28 April 2005 US: Fujitsu Delivers Volume Production of its Mobile 2.5" Serial ATA Hard Disk Drives
San Jose, CA, April 28, 2005 – Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., one of the world's leading suppliers of hard disk drives and computer peripherals, today announced volume production of the world's first and only 2.5" Serial ATA (SATA) drives, with volume shipments to distribution partners beginning immediately. Since it was announced, the Fujitsu 2.5" SATA hard disk drives have redefined possibilities for manufacturers in emerging notebook, consumer application and enterprise storage markets.

London, April 28, 2005 – Fujitsu announces today that it has been formally selected as a preferred supplier by BT for its 21st Century Network. BT has announced that it expects to conclude contractual agreements with named preferred suppliers over the summer.

27 April 2005 Japan: Fujitsu Reports FY 2004 Financial Results
Tokyo, April 27, 2005 – Fujitsu Limited, a leader in customer-focused IT and communications solutions for the global marketplace, today reported consolidated net sales of 4,762.7 billion yen (approximately US$44,512 million*) for fiscal year 2004 (April 1, 2004 - March 31, 2005), roughly even with the net sales recorded in the previous fiscal year. Solid sales gains in the Platforms segment helped to offset modest sales declines in Software & Services and Electronic Devices. Although sluggish domestic sales and certain problematic projects in Japan adversely impacted Software & Services income, bolstered by continued gains in production efficiency, strong results in Platforms - where operating income more than doubled - and higher income in Electronic Devices contributed to an increase in consolidated operating income to 160.1 billion yen (US$1,497 million), up 3.4% over the previous year.
26 April 2005 US: Fujitsu and DynAccSys Partner to Deliver XBRL®-Enabled Solutions That Set New Standards in Financial Reporting
Sunnyvale, CA and Silver Spring, MD , April 26, 2005 – Fujitsu Software Corporation and DynAccSys today announced a partnership to deliver financial applications based on the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL), the industry standard for online financial reporting. Under terms of the agreement, DynAccSys will use Interstage XWand, Fujitsu's industry-leading XBRL software toolkit, to develop the XABRA Tools. This XBRL-enabled application system allows for seamless data exchange and integration among disparate systems and permits compliance with financial reporting mandates, such as Sarbanes-Oxley and Basel II. 21 April 2005 Finland: Fazer and Fujitsu Finland Sign SAP Agreement
Helsinki, April 21, 2005 – Oy Karl Fazer Ab and Fujitsu Services Oy have signed a framework agreement that covers an SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system. Fazer Bakeries, part of Fazer Group, begins this co-operation with an SAP Project Delivery Agreement signed on 30 March.

15 April 2005 Finland: Finpro's IT Services Outsourced to Fujitsu Finland
Helsinki , April 15, 2005 – Finpro and Fujitsu Services Oy have signed a 3-year contract on outsourcing Finpro's IT services. With this Patja agreement Fujitsu takes over the maintenance of about 400 Finpro's workstations and 30 servers around the world as well as the global HelpDesk service. Five persons from Finpro’s IT Unit will move over to Fujitsu's employment.

11 April 2005 US: Fujitsu Partners with Industry Leaders to Deliver Market Ready Small Form Factor Serial SCSI Storage Solutions

11 April 2005 Germany: Fujitsu Siemens Computers Achieves Highest Recorded Revenue and Profit Before Tax in Company History
Munich, April 11, 2005 – Fujitsu Siemens Computers, the leading European IT company announced a final financial revenue for the Fiscal Year 2004 (ending March 31, 2005) that topped the six billion Euro figure*. This is the highest recorded revenue in the company’s five year history. President and CEO Bernd Bischoff announced that the company achieved €6.018* billion in revenue, an increase of fourteen* percent over the previous fiscal year. Profit before tax (PBT) also reached an all time high at €95* million, an improvement of 53* percent or €33* million over the previous fiscal year.
8 April 2005 Japan: Fujitsu Begins Operation of Japan-U.S. Grid-based Large-Scale R&D Environment
Tokyo, April 8, 2005 – Fujitsu Laboratories, Ltd. and Fujitsu Laboratories of America, Inc. (FLA) today announced the establishment and commencement of operations of a grid-based large-scale computing research environment that enables more efficient mutual use of computing resources at Fujitsu R&D facilities in Japan and the U.S. In conjunction with the inauguration of the new environment, the two companies augmented the computer resources for the grid, upgrading the simulation environment currently available to Fujitsu for in-house use by about three-fold, to over 2,000 nodes.
8 April 2005 Finland: Fujitsu to Supply Administrative Information System Project for Finnish Defence Forces
Helsinki, April 8, 2005 – The Finnish Defence Forces have reached an agreement with Fujitsu Services Oy on alteration work to their administrative information management environment. The value of agreement is approximately 3.3 million euros and the specified tasks will be implemented until the end of 2006.
7 April 2005 US: Fujitsu Microelectronics of America Names Kazuyuki Kawauchi New President, Chief Executive Officer
Sunnyvale, CA, April 7, 2005 – Fujitsu Microelectronics America, Inc. (FMA) today announced that Kazuyuki Kawauchi has been named president and chief executive officer. Kawauchi assumes his new post effective April 1, the beginning of the company's fiscal year.
