Fujitsu was named to the 2010 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for the 12th consecutive year in a row. The Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI) were launched in 1999 to act as investment benchmarks measuring a company's corporate sustainability. Companies ranked on the DJSI are selected from the largest 2,500 companies around the world. This year, 318 companies were selected worldwide as corporate sustainability leaders.
Fujitsu also maintained its standing in the FTSE4Good Index Series this year. The FTSE4Good Index Series was developed by FTSE which is jointly owned by The Financial Times and the London Stock Exchange.

The DJSI were launched in 1999 as the world's first socially responsible investment indexes. Constituent companies are selected on a broad assessment of economic, social, and environmental developments of leading companies worldwide.
The FTSE4Good Index Series was developed in 2001 to measure the performance of companies that meet globally recognized corporate responsibility standards, and to facilitate investment in those companies. The research data of the companies are provided by EIRIS, an independent, not-for-profit organization based in the UK.
